Dick Bayer has been a key player in the development and protection of important public policies preserving parties' rights to choose alternate means of dispute resolution. Trained as an arbitrator in 1982 and as a credentialed mediator in 1996, he has been at the forefront of ADR in California. He has served on the Board of the San Diego Mediation Center, ADR-San Diego (Treasurer) and the California Dispute Resolution Council where he was president in 2005. As the president and founder of the La Jolla Center for Dispute Resolution, Dick Bayer makes a full range of dispute resolution options and experienced neutrals available to parties.
